Do you want to write business plans within the exciting world of Mergers & Acquisitions?

M&A team seeks a quality candidate with proven skills in Business writing to join their small team of dynamic professionals. This role forms part of a Deal team and is responsible for creating business plans / marketing strategies and materials, including teasers, confidential information memorandums, videoed interviews, and other appropriate documentation.

Success in this role requires the ability to extract important information from Business owners / C-Suite executives at the potential “seller” company, hold complex and detailed discussions with them (curious mindset to develop insights), prepare coherent and persuasive written narrative, and present the opportunity in a straightforward and appealing manner to a potential “buyer”.

The idea being to compile comprehensive information about the client's (“sellers”) business through multiple sources to ensure a thorough and accurate analysis for client promotion, with the hope of bringing the seller and targeted buyer to a table for further discussion.

This role has a client facing element, and the candidate must be able to convey any transaction news, and deal with clients’ unique sensitivities while keeping each client moving through the company sales process at a steady pace.

Ideal experience:

Relevant degree - Journalism or Strategic marketing or Similar.
4-8 years’ experience in professional business or marketing strategy writing, including writing business / strategic plans and information memorandums
