SUMMARY:
Our client, a growing manufacturing and distribution business, is looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to join their team. The business imports and locally sources goods in bulk, repackages them into retail-ready sizes, and distributes them to market.

This is a hands-on, dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can provide reliable administrative support across multiple departments. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting management, keeping day-to-day tasks and initiatives on track, and ensuring things get done with minimal supervision. As the business continues to grow, the role and responsibilities will evolve with it.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Partner with management, taking the lead on their tasks and projects when they are drawn into other priorities Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to progress commercial and operational tasks Coordinate and drive project activities across the set-up and running of the operation, keeping deliverables and deadlines on track Prepare operational and financial reports, project trackers and performance analysis for the business Schedule appointments, take minutes, and follow up on actions arising from management and project meetings Provide selected front-office and administrative support, including correspondence, record-keeping, and day-to-day office coordination Requirements Matric \/ Certificate in Business Administration or relevant qualification (minimum) Proven experience within a manufacturing, processing, or FMCG environment (essential) Solid management accounting and commercial costing exposure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Own reliable transport is essential - the role is on-site and involves travel to meet suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP \/ XLOOKUP, Complex formulas) along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) Advantageous BCom Degree\/ diploma in commerce or related field ERP system experience Project management experience or relevant qualification
