SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with strong Quantity Surveying expertise to manage and control a high-value construction project in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, and labour
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations
Monitor programme progress, risks, and delays
Enforce HSE standards and chair site meeting
Prepare and review measurements, BOQs, and cost estimates

Control project budgets and cost reporting
Compile valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts
Assess variations, claims, and subcontractor payment
Assist with project planning and cash flow forecasting
Maintain accurate site and financial records
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction industry, with proven site/project management exposure
Candy / CCS experience is essential
PMP accreditation is a requirement
Solid hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying and commercial management
Valid driver’s licence (essential)
