An excellent IT platform is central to efficient performance of the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced CIO (Chief Information Officer) to oversee clients technology related strategies, initiatives and managing information.

The CIO will be pioneering this position within our company and working closely with the CEO.

Minimum requirements

Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
Fifteen (15) years related IT experience with a proven track record of which Five (5) years’ experience must have been spent at a Senior Management level within Information Technology environment.
ITIL certification will be an added advantage.

Experience requirements

Experience in controlling the full Information Technology budget.
Experienced in creating and maintaining Information the Technology strategy, in line with stakeholder needs and in keeping up with current best practice in the field of IT.
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems / infrastructure and their specifications.
Experience of commissioning services from third parties and managing relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Manage and develop staff within the IT Operations and Support Team.
Depth of business network, especially in the IT sector, and the ability to leverage off of this network.
Understanding of FMCG operations would be advantageous
