Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

SUMMARY:
A well-established advisory firm based on the East Rand is looking for a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to join their team!

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Education: Post Graduate Degree with a Major in Investment Management or relevant field

Minimum Experience: 8 years investment experience

Duties and Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter Holder will be advantageous
• MBA and / or Chartered Accountant (CA) will be a distinct advantage
• Skilled in investment management and decision making with knowledge of portfolio management
• Proficient in asset allocation and equity investments
• Knowledge of major investments and markets
• Knowledge of South African investment market
• Understanding of investment risks
• Strong understanding of valuation, accounting and economic principles across different industries
