POSITION INFO:

Company''s vision is to provide transparent and fair digital savings and lending products to the unbanked and underbanked population by giving financial institutions access to customer groups they would not be able to access traditionally across emerging markets, starting with Africa.

The role eports to: Chief Executive Officer and covers the UAE (HQ), Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda + other new markets.

Will be based in Nairobi, Kenya with extensive trravel particularly to East Africa in the short-term.

Purpose
The Chief Operations Officer’s responsibilities will include leading and managing the day-today operations of Credable across all markets, executing the strategy of the company, providing input to the founding team, be the first line of contact for clients, lead the country teams, be
responsible for country P&Ls, and be involved in market and product R&D.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or other related field. 8+ years experience in operations or consulting.

Africa experience is strongly preferred.

Experience working with third-party tools - Freshdesk, Intercom, Zapier, Notion etc.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong preference for experience in the fintech space and specifically in digital banking / lending products.

Understanding and experience in the Mobile Money Ecosystem in East Africa is an advantage.
