SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the risk management function within the Bank. We need someone that has done Risk at an organizational level

POSITION INFO:

Primary Purpose:

The CRO provides strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks that may affect the bank''''''''''''''''s financial stability, reputation, and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the CRO plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank''''''''''''''''s
assets, maintaining a strong risk culture, and promoting sound risk management practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Operational Risk in Financial services (ideal Banking experience)
Bank regulatory landscape
Compliance management (AML and EDD)
Support Services
Credit risk models, management and control
Financial Management and modelling of regulatory directives e.g. RADRR, Regulatory Ratios etc
Fraud investigation and management
SARB regulatory bodies (PA, Fisurv, FSCA etc) engagementLeadership.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree – Risk or Commercial
10 - 15 Years’ experience in Risk, Financial services
