Chief Sales Officer – OTR Tyres - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:
The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is responsible for the planning and execution of all sales strategies, initiatives, and objectives of the company. The CSO will work closely with the CEO and Managing Director to develop and implement short- and long-term sales plans that support the company''s overall business objectives. The Job Function will include the following to achieve consistent sales growth and meet the financial turnover and gross profit targets set out in the annual budget, ensuring that Sales Managers and Sales Executives are completing their targeted activities as well as driving best in class service levels. • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. • Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales performance metrics. • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform sales strategy. • Forge strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to ensure long-term business growth. • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients. • Establish and maintain sales processes and systems. • Establish and monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure financial objectives are met. • Coordinate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and brand positioning. • Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of the sales team. Key Performance Areas This position will be responsible for the following 4 Key Performance Areas: 1. Financial KPA: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. 2. Customer KPA: Forge strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to ensure long-term business growth. Grow market share of Mining product lines. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients. 3. Operational KPA: Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales performance metrics. Drive Sales Teams to achieve operational excellence through the utilisation of Salesforce and Company processes. 4. Learn & Grow KPA: Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of the sales team. Salary offer: Negotiable
