JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role calls for a skilled Chief technical with extensive experience in FMCG.
Duties Include:

Reporting to the Managing Director and working as a key member in a Refineries’ Management team, take a leadership role in building, implementing
Ensure occupational health and safety standards are implemented and actioned
Training of the operations and maintenance team within Operations
Handling the customer complaints in terms of operations
Liaise with customers pertaining to customer requirements within Speciality Fats
Handling customer complaints in terms of operations.
Liaise with customers pertaining to customer requirements within Speciality Fats
Management of the quality team and training in terms of requirements pertaining to Operations.
Provide technical support to market and customers – oils and speciality fats
Leading the implementation and audits for safety, FSSC and operations related audits(compliance).

Training the relevant team regarding the audits.

The ideal candidate has the following:

8 -10 years experience in oils operations – including crushing, refining, and packing
8+ years in senior management level
5 + years experience in managing to implement and managing audits (from safety to operational related audits)
Mechanical Engineering or relevant to edible oil operations
Financially and commercially skilled in budget management/control.
Must have a track record of leading multi-discipline teams to deliver on required, agreed KPI’s and within budget.
Identify and lead change and continuous improvement.
Be a self-starter with excellent leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge in the quality function within edible oils operations
