About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Stipend: R5200.00 pm

Location: Johannesburg (Midrand)

About the Role:
Client Acquisition & Growth Intern to support our marketing and sales efforts from generating leads to helping onboard new clients and growing our brand visibility.
This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact in the tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities (B2B/B2C)
• Assist with LinkedIn outreach, email marketing & digital campaigns
• Support the execution of marketing strategies (online & offline)
• Help manage our CRM and sales pipeline
• Join client calls, demos, or presentations as needed
• Collaborate with the team to develop tailored client solutions
• Generating and qualifying leads
• Increasing engagement on our campaigns
• Supporting client acquisition activities
• Helping drive awareness and traffic to our website and platforms

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the programme before.
• Matric
• A diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Great communicator with strong people skills
• Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Comfortable with tools like LinkedIn, Canva, Google Workspace, or HubSpot (a plus, not a must!)
• Interest in software, digital tools, or entrepreneurship

• Basic graphic design or social media content skills
• Past experience with outreach, event coordination, or digital marketing
• A personal interest in tech, innovation, or small business growth
