SUMMARY:
My client in the telecommunications sector is seeking an Commercial Executive to manage the telecommunication properties division. You will be responsible for owning and managing the operating expenditure and the asset value of the sites. You will also be responsible for the development of a Commercial portfolio strategy related to the sites, balancing business requirements with current and longer term needs. Responsible for producing a rolling 'fix it' plan for top key issues presented by business relating to the sites. Also responsible for managing relevant compliance and risks across the portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
Please note that preference will be given to African female and male applicants due to BEE targets.

Requirements:

3 Year Degree/ Diploma, preferably in the technical (engineering or IT) or commerce domain (NQF level 7).
8 years applicable technical/ telecommunications experience with demonstrated success in commercial/ finance management of property related portfolios with minimum 3 years of senior management experience.
A willingness to travel as well as a valid South African driver's license
Experience in planning, running and managing the telecoms sites profit and loss and balance sheet
Experience in corporate real estate activities
End to end facilities management ownership and delivery roles, including managing internal operations and outsourced providers
Green building experience and environmental management issues
Leasing, re-gearing and retail lease negotiation experience
Experience in guiding real estate acquisitions and project activity to support site strategy
Proven track record in managing sales cycles from beginning to end and to close large deals with accounts that have complex requirements.
