SUMMARY:
To manage and analyse the financials of the commercial contract, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Ensure client billing/invoices are in line with the contract/S1.
Ensure debtors collections and allocation of receipts are up to date and ensure billing issues are resolved timeously.
Ensure month end close for contracts are accurate, complete and closed out within defined deadlines.
Including journal processing and balance sheet reconciliations. On a monthly basis, provided detailed P&L analysis to Line Manager and Business Unit Lead.
Ensure that the P&L is prepared, reviewed and signed off before the finalization of month end close.
Prepare audit files in preparation for external audit and address audit queries timeously
Preparation of respective client budgets on an annual basis.
Quarterly preparation of updated client account forecasts
Perform detailed variance analysis, clear out issues and provide detailed explanation for variances.
Ensure that all month end checklists are completed and submitted for review timeously.
Also ensuring that issues as raised in the checklist are cleared timeously.
Perform cost completeness check and ensure that all costs are recovered from client, including employee personal claims, credit cards and travel expenses. Preparation of in contract cash flow.

Experience / Education

BCom degree or equivalent
CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
Five years hands on operational finance experience in Facilities management / manufacturing / project / contractbased environment.
Strong P&L management.

Skills Required:

Computer literacy: SAP ECC; MS Office - Excel advanced, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
