SUMMARY:
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the renewable energy sector? Do you have experience in managing commercial projects and contracts? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our Commercial Manager position.

POSITION INFO:
As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of renewable energy projects, from bidding and negotiation to contract management and risk assessment. You will work closely with the project managers, engineers, finance, and legal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the satisfaction of their clients. You will also identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market share and revenue.

Duties:

Originate deals for long-term and short-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) for supply and off-take in South Africa.
Manage relationships with local consultants supporting PPA activities.
Support internal analyses of commercial offers received as well as the development of commercial offers made to industrial customers and suppliers.
Manage internal stakeholder engagements and approvals.
Actively seek out renewable supply opportunities and manage procurement thereof.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, business, law, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in commercial management, position - Renewable energy sector advantageous
Proven track record of closing Long terms contracts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to work
Understanding the project and corporate structure of large-scale renewable energy projects advantageous

Salary: Negotiable - Dependant on experience
