Commercial Manager (Private School)

This nationally based, high-end Private school Group, is seeking to engage with a driven commercial manager who will be responsible for the overall management (including financial & facilities management) of the school where he/she will be placed.

The school model is such that it consists of a Preschool, Primary and High School. Each of these campusses are managed by Principals.

The purpose of the commercial manager is to strategically manage and develop the school as a whole. The role will include the development, review and implementation of new business strategies whilst maintaining a clear focus on the needs of the school and the Group.

Preparation of business plans, including financial reports and forecasts, ensuring revenue and profit targets are achieved and that learner attendance levels reach the maximum in line with strategic targets. The successful person will also be responsible for driving the business forward, providing vision, inspiration and high professional standards; to develop and implement a strategic management plan and also to recruit, develop and manage designated employees at the school.

The selected candidate will have the presence, skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the School’s commercial operations to the highest standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Education (recommended) or related field
• An MBA would be beneficial
• 8 years’ experience in a management position, of which at least 5 years must be as head of the institution.
• COVID19 Vaccination Certification is essential
• Ability to lead and nurture young staff members.
• Excellent management & leadership skills is a requirement
