JOB SUMMARY:
My is seeking a Compliance and Business Continuity Manager to join their team on a 6 months contract. The specialist is required to apply him/herself to constantly manage compliance in accordance with the MFMA. . This position is based in Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing and implementing Emergency and Crisis Management Plans.
Review and update Crisis Management, Emergency and Risk Management Procedures.
Co-ordinate Business and IT recovery plans. Identify Compliance Risks.
Prepare Compliance Risk Management Plans. Monitor, Review and Update Compliance Risk Plans.
Monthly/Quarterly reporting to the Executive Committee and Board on compliance, Compliance Risk and Business Continuity.
Review and Report on Business Continuity Plans.
Review and Report on Compliance universe and update Compliance Risk Plans.
Liaison with stakeholder on governance and protocols. Liaison with management across the company.
Developing, implementing and continuously improving a compliance management framework.
Integrating compliance obligations into existing practices and procedures.
Ensuring compliance is factored into position descriptions, performance management processes and contracts with contractors, outsourced service providers and external suppliers.
Developing and implementing systems for sourcing information, such as complaints, feedback, hotlines, whistle blowing and other mechanisms.
Monitoring and measuring compliance performance and analyzing performance to identify the need for corrective action.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree (NQF7) (Risk Management, Audit or Accounting.
Professional Registration (IRMSA and Continuity SA.)
5 years operational risk and compliance and Business Continuity experience of which 3 must be at management level.
Valid Driver’s License.
