We’re recruiting on behalf of a Benoni-based client looking for a hands-on and experienced Control and Instrumentation Engineer with solid PLC and instrumentation knowledge. Job & Company Description:

As a C&I Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the setup, calibration, programming, and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems on industrial and mineral processing equipment. You’ll work closely with the electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration, support project rollouts, and deliver high-performance control systems both in the workshop and on-site.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience in control and instrumentation (minimum 5 years)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs
Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferred)
Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols
Strong fault-finding, wiring, and panel-building skills
Willingness to travel locally and cross-border for commissioning
