SUMMARY:
Are you a Cost & Management Accountant that enjoys working on the factory floor, partnering with operations, and driving cost efficiency and margin optimisation?

POSITION INFO:
A well-established manufacturing business based in the East Rand is seeking a hands-on Cost & Management Accountant to take ownership of the costing function, performance analysis, and operational finance.

Join a globally backed manufacturer with over 100 years of industry expertise, where your ability to drive cost efficiency and performance will directly influence business success.

Duties

Perform & maintain standard costing and ABC costing
Analyse variances, cost drivers, and manufacturing performance
Prepare management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Manage inventory valuation and cost of sales analysis
Partner with operations to drive cost control and margin improvement
Support month-end reporting with a focus on cost accuracy
Provide insights to support pricing and business decisions
Work on ERP systems (SAP / Syspro) and advanced Excel

Skills & Experience:

BCom in Accounting or related field (Essential)
Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles (Essential)
Minimum 4–6 years’ relevant accounting experience
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (Highly advantageous)
