POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Control & Reporting – Design systems to track project/operational costs, analyse variances, and deliver actionable reports.
Budget Leadership – Collaborate with PMO on budgets, forecasts, and strategies to prevent cost overruns.
Inventory Oversight – Manage costing for materials and WIP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Process Optimisation – Identify inefficiencies and drive cost-saving initiatives with cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with Engineers, procurement, and leadership to align financial and operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Accounting/CMA; and professional certification (CIMA/ACCA/SAICA) is a plus.
Industry Expertise – 3–5 years in cost accounting, ideally in engineering, manufacturing, or tech.
Advanced Excel; and familiarity with cloud accounting tools (e.g., Xero) and IFRS for SMEs.
