JOB DESCRIPTION:

I specialize in professionals interested in temporary roles and contract positions.

I am currently recruiting for a well-known company in the retail space, that currently have an influx of orders. They are looking at a contractor for 6 months to join their team as soon as possible.

You will be collaborating closely with the Senior Accountant and will be expected to hit the ground running and adding the value of your prior experience gained.

You will be responsible for the following:

Cashbook reconciliation
Accounts Payable: queries and liaison, processing, corrections, allocations, reconciliations
Month-End Management Packs
Cashflow administration, analysis, and planning
General Ledger reconciliation and reporting
Petty Cash Reconciliation – multiple regions
Analyse financial information and prepare balance sheets, Income statement and provision sheets
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation
Complete end of month close procedures

This position will require advance Excel experience as you would be responsible to run all the reconciliations of various large accounts.

Qualifications:

Completed Bcom degree

Experience:

3 - 5 years’ experience within a similar role
Retail/ FMCG or Manufacturing experience will be non-negotiable

Communication skills
