JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Distribution and Planning Manager you will be required to improve distribution performance in line with the departmental strategic objectives by increasing productivity and reducing costs while focusing on the efficiency of resources.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Warehouse/Distribution essential.
Managing routes for own distribution fleet
Computer literacy — Microsoft Office, Syspro software.

Key Result Areas:

Managing driver''s timetable and employees reporting to your structure.
Ensure inventory records on the accounting system are accurate at all times, by ensuring that all stock movements are appropriately recorded and captured into Syspro.
Cycle counts of responsible warehouses
Ensure stock rotation is done properly
Manage daily distribution planning.
Optimal use of delivery structures — planning, routing, vehicles.
Fuel usage management, Report on CPK/vehicle
Incident reporting and prevention — breakdowns, hijackings, accidents.

Package

R480k CTC per annum

inclusive of a provident fund contribution.
inclusive of a fixed contribution to medical aid
