SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Database Analyst

Stipend: R5,500

Location: Gauteng (Bruma)

POSITION INFO:
About the role
Maintains data storage and access by designing physical databases.

Responsibilities

Reporting

Send instore reporting and ensure loaded on one drive.
Check mandrel for failed instore reporting emails.
Pull weekly robot reports for range housekeeping requirements.
Pull weekly required housekeeping or relevant reporting (example potential phantom or a suggested order).
Process aged stock reports and print for Gauteng and inland stores.
Process feedback report or upload captured aged stock reporting to PBI.
Development of reporting with sister company OJ.
General report assistance.

Measure

Quality of reports.
Weekly reports completed.
Aged stock reports printed.
Feedback reports.

System Administration

Saving and processing of stock files for system uploads.
Maintaining SharePoint folders – save the work you do for ease of access by all.
Maintain system dates and background tasks on Company website, to ensure our stock files are uploaded correctly and our system runs smoothly.
Upload master files and site files
Maintain the master site and master, master file.
Work closely with developers on testing and updates to systems.
Complete testing of changes to our system before we deploy to live.
Validate data on all systems.
Management of an automated account where applicable.

Measure

System maintenance.
File uploads.
Quality of master file.
System updates done.

Data capturing

Capture aged stock feedback from team.
Capture inventory count feedback and load to live.

Measure

Accurately captured

Client Liaison

Request client stock files from retailer or supplier. Weekly task.
Request client bi data (aged stock, fill rate and sales YTD) Monthly task.
Request an update of retailer site files.
Set up users for Company staff and client store representatives
Alert of new, closing, revamp, carnivals or other store activities.
Work with the relevant CRM on your accounts to ensure good understanding and support.

Measure

Client feedback.
Staff and representatives set up.
Alerts sent out timeously.

Minimum Requirements

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
Matric.
Post matric certification (degree) in marketing or business is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a setting of a similar nature, i.e. Data analytics.
