Exciting opportunity available as Dealer Development Manager expand and develop a sustainable and successful sales channel throughout territory. Maintain and improve the market share through effective marketing and sales facilitation


Job Description:
  • Maintain relationships with all dealers (subsidiaries and independent) through effective communication and support.
  • Prospecting sales and market share growth opportunities within existing dealers.
  • Travel to and meet with dealers/customers to assist in selling and promotional opportunities.
  • Achieve placement, goals and quotas for dealer accounts.
  • Travel to and meet with dealers/customers to assist in selling and promotional opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows with dealers/customers and provides sales support where required.
  • Manage bi-annual dealer assessment and propose action plans and remedial steps where required.
  • Manage tendering, costing, quotation and delivery processes of construction machinery for all subsidiaries and independent dealers.
  • Retain and improve current market share through effective selling of construction machines
  • Identify & exploit new business opportunities within the pre-defined target market.
  • Assists in the development of the HCM product development plans through market driven needs.
  • Represent Company at industry seminars, industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Strategise marketing solutions aligned with customer needs/expectations
  • Manage all Construction Equipment pricing for the region.
  • Ensure profit levels are adequately maintained on all sales.
  • Manage, negotiate, and control all costing related to construction equipment sales.
  • Manage the reconciliation process of all equipment sold within company territory.
  • Analyse regional situation and propose stock machines required to meet market demands.
  • Manage routine maintenance required for stock units.
  • Monitor & report budget and business plans.
  • Manage forecasts and budgets consistently to ensure budgetary requirements are met.
  • Accurately plan, forecast and report sales targets
  • (QTY, Revenue and GP).

Education: Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing (NQF7)

Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 5 years’ experience in Sales, Earthmoving and Marketing.
  • Must come out of Earthmoving Industry (non-negotiable)
