Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to take full responsibility for the financial management of their high performing multi-franchise automotive dealership.

This role is instrumental in ensuring strong financial governance, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving performance across New Vehicles, Used Vehicles, Parts, Service, and F&I.

Remuneration:
R 40 000 – R 45 000 CTC per month + KPI based incentives

POSITION INFO:
Duties include

• Full financial oversight of dealership operations, ensuring accuracy, control, and compliance
• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Management of month-end and year-end financial processes
• Monitoring cash flow, working capital, and cost management across all departments
• Preparation and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Providing financial insights and partnering with management to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Maintaining integrity and control within the Dealer Management System (Kerridge and/or Pinnacle)
• Ensuring accurate financial postings and process control across departments
• Oversight of vehicle, parts, and fixed asset controls, including regular reconciliations
• Managing statutory compliance including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and other regulatory submissions
• Supporting payroll controls, leave reconciliations, and HR-related financial matters
• Managing internal and external audits and liaising with auditors, banks, and service providers
• Supporting and maintaining BBBEE compliance and reporting

• BCom Degree in Financial Accounting or related qualification
• 3–7 years’ experience as a Financial Manager within a motor dealership environment
• Proven working experience on Kerridge and/or Pinnacle DMS
• Strong understanding of full dealership operations (New, Used, Parts, Service, F&I)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills with a strong compliance and control mindset
• Commercially driven with the ability to work independently and perform under pressure
