SUMMARY:
An established IT services business is seeking a hands-on IT Technical Support professional to provide onsite first and second-line support. This role is ideal for someone confident supporting users across hardware, Microsoft 365, identity management, and core network troubleshooting.

POSITION INFO:

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Technical Skills & Experience

Proven experience in an onsite IT support or service desk role (first and second-line support)
Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops
Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Experience managing identities and access in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
Proven experience with user onboarding and offboarding (account setup, access management)
Solid hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN troubleshooting)
Experience using ticketing systems and maintaining accurate support documentation

User Support & Communication

Strong customer service mindset – comfortable supporting non-technical users
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide user training and system guidance
Professional, patient, and approachable attitude

Organisation & Work Ethic

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Comfortable working independently in an onsite environment
Strong attention to detail when documenting and following procedures
Reliable, punctual, and responsive during business hours

Security & Professional Standards

Understanding of IT security principles and data protection practices
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Commitment to following company IT policies and compliance requirements

Education

Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
