DevOps Cloud Engineer / Cloud Release Engineer – Hybrid – Up to R1.4m

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An organisation that is deeply rooted in the UK, and well known for specialising within the Wealth and Fintech management industry is looking for a DevOps Cloud Engineer with some Cloud Release Engineering experience to join their forward-thinking team.

You will be responsible for planning and executing the Release Management lifecycle including scheduling, coordinating, and management of releases for multiple applications across the environments, you will also be responsible for the software releases to the production platforms and the underlying Infrastructure as Code built data centres.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant IT Degree
1.5 to 3 years of experience in software deployment, systems engineering, technical support, technical project management, business or systems analysis, software quality assurance, cloud DevOps or configuration management
Practical experience in the public cloud infrastructure including experience with some Infrastructure as Code preferred – e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM templates

Experience with some or all of the following technologies:

Microsoft Systems Platforms - Windows, IIS
Database technologies – Microsoft SQL Server

You will be exposed to:

Microsoft SQL Server
AWS
