Development Manager
My client is a small business with big aspirations and is growing its management team to help lead the business through its digital strategies therefore they require an energetic Development Manager with management experience to join its team of Software Developers. The incumbent will have the full support of Management Team to bring their own unique flair to the table by introducing what is possible through the use of technology. The successful candidate will be exposed to great learning opportunities and be inspired by a start-up culture where hands-on dedication is required.

POSITION INFO:

• Requirements:
• Information Systems/Computer Science/BTech/Diploma/relevant qualification
•  Excellent technical communication skills
• Innovative out of the box thinker
• Minimum 5 years Software Development Experience
• Experience with C#.Net, .Net Core, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and jSon, API integration, Web and Mobile applications advantageous
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in managing a development team
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in project management
• Plan, oversee and work on multiple projects simultaneously, either independently or collaboratively with development team / external outsourced developers
• Forecast project duration and cost.
• Mobile and web application development.
• Ability to oversee and mentor junior software developers
• Maintenance of existing financial and in house systems
• Development for the automation and improvement of existing systems and processes
• Running protocols and processes for monthly bill-run and other functions
• Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and management
• Meet project deadlines
• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders and the Exco team
• Responsible for delivering functioning and (mostly) bug free code.
• Follow standard best practices around software development
• Play a pivotal role in product innovation processes
• Reporting on projects and health of IT system
