Build Enterprise Digital Solutions at the Intersection of Power Platform and Data Engineering!

POSITION INFO:
A large, well-established South African organisation operating in a highly regulated, dataâdriven environment is looking to appoint a Developer & Data Engineer to join its growing digital and data team.

As a Developer & Data Engineer, you will design, build, and operate enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric. You’ll work across low-code and pro-code development, data pipelines, and governed data products, ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and fit for real-world use.

Responsibilities:

Design and build Power Apps (Canvas and ModelâDriven) to digitise business processes
Develop Power Automate flows for system integration, approvals, and workflow automation
Configure and extend SharePoint Online for document management and integration
Apply Power Platform ALM best practices, including environment separation, solution packaging, and version control
Design and implement endâtoâend data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, and Warehouse
Ingest and transform data from sources such as SAP, line-of-business systems, M365, and external platforms
Build curated datasets and semantic models aligned to business domains
Implement data quality, validation, and reconciliation controls
Enable Power BI reporting through well-structured Fabric data models

Requirements:

5 years experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Understanding of SDLC, deployment practices, and environment management
Exposure to SAP or ERP data sources is a strong advantage
