SUMMARY:
Digital Marketing Specialist required for our reputable, global appliance leader to manage their web content for South Africa as well as digital marketing across all business units including strategy, contact management, SNS, paid campaigns and associated reporting. The successful candidate will also serve as a custodian for digital marketing within the organization and assist Corporate Marketing with instilling it as a second-nature behaviour across all business units particularly sales.
POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities for this position include (but not limited to): Web Contact Management: Assist Corporate Marketing and other various stakeholders in the management of the Client's South African website - across all BU's: customization of creative, as\/when required. ensuring all SKU are published on time and updated when required. manage banners across all BU's to ensure product visibility and awareness. ensure ticketing systems are utilised for all web-related tasks and that such tasks are managed and closed timeously. manage strategy with a goal to increase traffic to the Client's website. collaborate with Product Managers, Sales and Marketing Managers to enhance Search Engine Optimisation on website. collaborate with Sales to ensure independent customers' and distributor list remains regularly updated. aspire to make the Client a leading subsidiary in web content management and provision of such content to its customers through procured content syndication tools. comply with Global standards on all online content, including monitoring the compliance of customer websites. compiling monthly reports and analysis \/ optimisations pertaining to the above, or as requested by HQ, RHQ and FSE's. Retail Content Management Align with and guide Sales team to ensure their product SKU are listed on retailer websites accurately and on time. Syndicate content to retailers via procured content syndication tools. Collaborate with Sales to actively seek cooperative digital opportunities on retailer websites and channels for the Client's brand and products. Ensure that the Client is present with a visibility strategy on retailer websites in accordance with Sales and Marketing Managers. Assist Sales in providing retailers with attractive images for the Client's products listed. Digital Marketing Management Prepare Digital strategy for all NPI's across all the Client's BU's and owned platforms. Optimise digital media plans with Marketing Managers - setting KPI's, content management and production, reporting. Track performance on a weekly basis and redirect investment where required to achieve goals. Utilise agencies to support NPI's with creative contents and social plans \/ calendars. Apply Global digital strategy and identify suitable online marketing methods in line with Global best practice for the Client. Ensure that online campaigns are executed and adhere to the Client's BI and campaign strategy. Brief and obtain proposals from agencies. Evaluate proposals and costs. Approve \/ supply creative and campaign strategy. Monitor and measure online campaigns. Post campaign reporting. Daily management of the Client's SNS platforms. Management of outsourced vendors. Development of SNS strategy, aligned with HQ. Management of SNS Plan, aligned with HQ. Management of SNS KPI's, aligned with HQ. Management of online campaign budgets. Operational management: Monthly management and updating of digital marketing budget and plans - per BU. Uploading plans per BU, CE's, PO's, invoices, vouchers, process payment once proof of work received. Develop briefs for digital agencies and web administration services. Project management of all digital marketing activities for the Client. Required Experience Full understanding of web development processes. Digital marketing workflows and campaigns. Market analysis and trends. Hands on experience managing Google Search, Display, Shopping and Pmax campaigns. Understanding of product feeds (Merchant Centre). Meta Blueprint familiarity. Experience running conversion optimized campaigns for retail\/e-commerce. Working Knowledge of e-commerce tracking, ROAS and conversion optimization. Experience in Tech, FMCG or retail driven environments. Strong understanding of the South African digital media landscape.
