EE Candidates - Receiving Manager (Healthcare / FMCG), Meadowview, RNeg + Benefits

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain (NQF Level 6)

NON-NEGOTIABLE Min of 10 years’ exp in Healthcare / FMCG - Fresh Produce distribution

NON-NEGOTIABLE Min of 5 years’ experience in management with direct reports

In-depth knowledge & understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - SAP would be advantage

Exp in Cold Storage + Fast moving Essential + exp in Strict Deadlines

Experience in Industrial Relations (handling a large Workforce - absenteeism, disciplinary )

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Sound understanding of principles relating to Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory & Financial Control

Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To oversee all operational processes within the receiving department and to communicate with other departments where necessary. To assume overall responsibility for SHEQ within the receiving department. Coordinate with other departments on issues that require logistics input. Responsible for maintaining financial control within the receiving department (e.g. overtime, packaging etc.).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing & assuming overall responsibility of all receiving processes, i.e. from vehicle offload to stock put away

Managing & assuming overall responsibility of all receiving personnel

Managing & assuming overall responsibility of all receiving infrastructure

Managing & assuming overall responsibility of all receiving MHE

Coordination with different warehouse departments

Ensure all SHEQ policies & procedures are adhered to.
