POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Design, develop and support electrical and electronic engineering projects within the renewable energy sector Provide technical input into solar PV, battery storage and power generation installations Assist with the design, testing, commissioning and optimisation of renewable energy systems Support utility-scale, commercial and industrial renewable energy projects Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting and performance analysis on solar and electrical systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery Prepare technical documentation, reports, engineering calculations and specifications Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-7 years' of Electrical and Electronic Engineering experience Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, battery storage or power generation projects Knowledge of grid-connected and off-grid energy systems advantageous Understanding of electrical design principles, protection systems and industry standards Experience with system testing, commissioning and performance monitoring Familiarity with inverters, transformers, switchgear and balance-of-plant equipment Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Project engineering experience within the renewable energy sector advantageous Qualification: BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
