SUMMARY:

A strong Electrical Foreman is required to lead maintenance teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

ob & Company Description:

This role is built for a hands-on leader who can manage electrical artisans while driving reliability across production equipment. You will oversee preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently in a continuous manufacturing environment.

Education:

Grade 12
N4 or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Trade Test Electrician (essential)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in FMCG plant electrical maintenance
Experience in continuous manufacturing environments
Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
At least 5 years’ supervisory experience (advantageous)
Knowledge of OHS Act and relevant legislation

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of electrical artisans
Ensure 24-hour plant uptime through maintenance and repairs
Execute and improve preventative maintenance systems
Investigate root causes of breakdowns and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Manage contractor performance and spare parts availability
Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability
