SUMMARY:
VACANCY: Engineering Manager
LOCATION: UK - Staveley, Hyde, Corby
SALARY: Market Related

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of the engineering strategy, delivering automation projects and improving plant performance across multiple sites. You’ll play a key part in transforming operations through LEAN methodology, data-driven decision-making, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A degree/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar
Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong background in automation projects and continuous improvement
Demonstrated success in improving plant performance and reliability

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading and delivering a multi-year automation and digitalisation strategy
Driving engineering excellence, improving reliability, utilisation and OEE
Overseeing installation, commissioning and optimisation of equipment and layouts
Championing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives across all sites
Managing and developing a high-performing team of engineers
Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards
Owning engineering budgets, capex planning and project delivery
