FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – FLORIDA, ROODEPOORT – R1.4m CTC

CA (SA) with articles & 5 years+ post articles experience in the commercial environment. Understanding of IFRS, Experience in ERP, IT, Business and Reporting Tools essential – Hyperion, MS Office, etc. Strong analytical & conceptual skills & ability to drive improved performance in the Finance Team. Experience in preparation & drafting of annual tax calculations & financial statements. Ensure correct financial management, financial analysis, planning, cash management, treasury management, budgeting & forecasting. Full responsibility to ensure accounting is in compliance with the policies in force within the Group. Responsible for the company’s legal entities fiscal close & all statutory requirements. Develop, implement & monitor the internal control environment as set by the Group Internal Control & Risk matrix including management of the admin, financial & fiscal issues. Ensure compliance to all policies stated by Group. Develop budgets & long-term business plans. Manage Auditing, Finance & ensure all controlling activities are in compliance with plans & strategic instructions from the Group. Financial & Management Reports. Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system for the business. Manage AP & AR functions. Ensure that the company’s legal entities adhere to all monthly statutory requirements.
