FMCG Business Analyst – Johannesburg

SUMMARY:
Are you an energetic Business Analyst wanting to become an integral part of our client’s dynamic team driving systems, processes and data to improve profitability, efficiency and productivity?
 
In this position there is a requirement to work one week per month at our global clients Head Office in Cape Town. This position will assist the Commercial Department (exports/imports). Advanced Excel skills and further dashboard development experience will be greatly beneficial.
 
International traveling might be required in the future.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant degree with Business analysis, Strategic planning and Demand planning exp
• Advanced Excel (macro, programming), PowerPoint, multi-dimensional tools (ESSBASE, EOS, Microsoft database type) are necessary
• Min 3 to 5 years experience in business controlling and/or finance, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Strong financial planning/analysis skills & exp generating process documents & reports
• Local experience and excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills

• Develop tools to monitor and develop commercial performance (Power BI dashboards).
• Business Analysis for sales process reporting with sales activity, sales opportunities, average time to close, win and loss characteristics, to identify areas for improvement in the sales process.
• Strategic planning and assist sales teams with sales reporting & report on business performance
• Demand planning and support Market Managers with dedicated finance analyses
• Advertising and Promotions / Funds to the trade - co-ordinate POSM follow-up - budget and supply chain
• Cash and Customer Credit Management
• Risk Management monitoring sales operating procedures and controls in order to protect company physical and financial assets, people and reputation
