JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for an Internal Auditor in the FMCG space.

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12
Degree / Qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting or Finance
Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
Experience within the Retail environment of at least 5 – 10 years
Internal Audit Experience in an FMCG environment of 2- 5 years will be Very Advantageous
Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Administration qualification will be advantageous if the person has such skills
Pastel (Required) Evolution (advantage); Excel (Required); Arch advantage
Computer literacy (Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
