SUMMARY:
Seeking an Operations Director for Feed Mills.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Oversee the operation of feed mills, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and profitability.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a feed manufacturing, milling, or FMCG environment.
- Agriculture, Engineering or Financial Degree, combined with at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing a large group in the role of Group Manufacturing Manager/ MD/ Director or Group Operations Manager.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulatory bodies, and industry groups.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure effective financial management, including budgeting (CAPEX, OPEX, company assets, sales, salaries, etc.), cost control, and financial reporting, to support the overall financial health of the division.
- Raw Material Procurement: Guide and maintain a strategic approach to raw material procurement, ensuring the best quality at the best price, through international market analysis and supplier negotiations.
