POSITION INFO:
ð Location: Sandton, Johannesburg North
ð¼ Type: Permanent
ð° Salary: R 420 000 – R 500 000 per annum (Market-related)

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for IFRS and tax? We’re partnering with a prestigious institution in the higher education sector that’s looking for a Finance Accountant to strengthen their dynamic finance team.

ð What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare monthly journals and management accounts with insightful variance analysis
Compile operational finance reports and cash flow forecasts
Oversee working capital and liaise with External Auditors
Manage VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with budgeting
Handle SARS profiles and attend branch appointments when required
Reconcile related party transactions and schedules

ð What You’ll Need:

NDip or BCom in Accounting Science / Financial Management
At least 1 year post-articles experience
Advanced Excel skills (SARS query experience is a plus!)
