Our client, an international FinTech giant operating across Singapore, the USA, Australia and South Africa, is looking for a Financial Director who can keep the numbers compliant while the business moves at digital speed. This is not a back-office role. This is a front-row, executive-level finance leadership seat in a business where innovation never sleeps, and neither do the reporting deadlines.

Our client is a globally recognised FinTech powerhouse, operating in multiple jurisdictions with complex revenue models and high-growth ambitions. The organisation embraces a hybrid working structure, with office-based collaboration at their Century City (SA) offices required from time to time.

As the Financial Director, you’ll lead the end-to-end finance function locally while working closely with global leadership to execute international strategy, ensure compliance across multiple territories and deliver insights that drive profitability, scale and sustainable growth.

• Lead all finance activities, including accounting, reporting, budgeting and planning
• Partner with regional and global leaders to support long-term growth and strategy. Translate the global financial strategy into effective local execution
• Deliver insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Ensure IFRS-compliant financial reporting aligned to Group policies
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk frameworks
• Manage external audits and auditor relationships
• Ensure compliance across South Africa, Australia, Singapore and the USA
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, GST, corporate tax and transfer pricing
• Manage deferred revenue accounting and complex revenue recognition
• Act as trusted finance partner to leadership on pricing, modelling and investments
• Support M&A, integrations and restructuring initiatives
• Drive process improvement, automation and standardisation
• Support global finance transformation initiatives

• CA(SA) / AGA(SA) / CIMA / ACCA qualified
• 10+ years' progressive financial management experience
• Proven experience in multinational environments (essential)
• Strong knowledge of deferred revenue accounting
• Solid understanding of foreign tax laws and compliance
• Board-level exposure with the ability to influence strategic decisions
• Advanced MS Excel
• Strong ERP systems knowledge (Navision, SAP or similar)
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability
