We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a leading player in the insurance industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a CA(SA), AGA(SA), or finance professional with completed SAICA articles and insurance experience who wants exposure to strategic decision-making, financial leadership, regulatory reporting, and business partnering.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Own monthly management reporting and financial performance analysis Partner closely with operational and actuarial teams to drive business decisions Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls Review and improve financial reporting processes and internal controls Oversee VAT, tax, regulatory, and compliance reporting Manage balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions Lead and mentor finance team members Support internal and external audit processes Deliver meaningful financial insights that influence business strategy and growth Skills & Experience: CA(SA), AGA(SA), or completed SAICA articles Insurance or financial services experience is essential Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into commercial insights Experience reviewing and leading the work of finance staff A hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail Someone who asks questions, challenges assumptions, and drives continuous improvement Qualification: Degree and SAICA articles For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
