POSITION INFO:
Are you a qualified CA(SA) looking for a role where you can make a genuine business impact- not just produce reports? We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys partnering with the business, and can turn financial information into meaningful strategic insight. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading financial services organisation where you'll take ownership of the finance function, lead a small team, and work closely with senior stakeholders on key business initiatives. What you'll be doing: Owning the monthly management reporting process across multiple entities. Preparing insightful financial reports, variance analysis, and business commentary. Partnering with senior leadership, finance executives, and operational teams to support strategic decision-making. Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities. Driving continuous improvements in financial reporting, controls, and internal processes. Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger integrity, and intercompany balances. Overseeing VAT submissions, tax calculations, and regulatory compliance. Supporting internal, external, and regulatory audit processes. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Finance Supervisors and Accountants. What we're looking for: Qualified CA(SA) with compulsory SAICA membership. Minimum 1 - 3 years' post-qualification experience . Strong technical knowledge of IFRS. Previous experience leading and developing finance teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience within financial services or insurance will be highly advantageous. Sage X3 experience is beneficial. You'll thrive in this role if you are: Naturally curious and enjoy asking the right questions. Commercially minded with strong business acumen. Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making. Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.
