Join a top-tier engineering organisation with a strong presence in Gauteng, known for delivering complex projects and maintaining high operational standards. The finance team plays a strategic role in supporting project profitability, cost control, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Drive and oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations
Support project cost tracking, revenue recognition, and expense analysis
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial insights and reporting to operational stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

BCom Accounting

Experience:

3–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant
Experience within an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environment is essential
Strong exposure to full-function accounting and reporting

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
ERP system experience (SAP advantageous)
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
