POSITION INFO:

A dynamic and growing company based in Illovo is seeking a detailâdriven Financial Accountant to join their youthful, fastâpaced finance team.

This role is ideal for an articleâtrained Accountant who enjoys accurate processing, routine accounting, and stakeholder interaction, while gaining broad exposure to a commercial finance environment.

â Preference will be given to candidates based in Johannesburg or Midrand.

ð¯ Role Overview:
You will take ownership of core accounting functions, applying your articles training in a commercial, clientâfocused environment while working closely with the CFO.

ð Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and managing customer invoicing and debtor accounting
Processing cashbook entries and performing bank reconciliations
Managing supplier / creditor accounting
Maintaining and reconciling the fixed asset register
Preparing sales statistics and supporting financial reporting
General journal processing and finance administration
Supporting the CFO with ad hoc accounting and finance tasks

ð Requirements:

â Mandatory:
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Completed BCom / BCompt Accounting degree
â Experience:
- Postâarticles exposure or strong endâofâarticles experience will be advantageous
- Suitable for newly postâarticles or earlyâcareer Accountants
â Systems & Skills:
- Strong MS Office proficiency (essential)
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Pastel, Embrace, or similar
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and online platforms
