POSITION INFO:
You will join a high-performing finance team responsible for supporting the financial operations of a rapidly evolving fintech business. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys financial reporting, compliance, and data analysis, and working closely with operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, tax, and statutory requirements
Assist with annual financial statements (AFS) and audit processes
Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Support process improvement initiatives and finance automation projects
Work closely with operational and technology teams to improve reporting accuracy

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

Strong financial reporting and reconciliations experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Exposure to fintech, financial services, banking, or technology environments advantageous
Strong systems experience and advanced Excel skills beneficial
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
BCom Degree in Accounting (essential)
3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
