Are you a Financial Accountant who thrives on the factory floor rather than behind a corporate desk?

Our client is looking for a commercially minded finance professional with hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of costing.

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing: Manage the full financial accounting function Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Analyse manufacturing and production costs Manage raw material costing , inventory valuation and cost allocations Monitor product costing and identify cost-saving opportunities Work closely with plant and operational management Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis Assist with month-end and year-end reporting Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements Drive continuous improvements in financial controls and reporting What We're Looking For: ✔ BCom Accounting or related finance qualification (essential) ✔ Proven experience as a Financial Accountant within a manufacturing, factory or plant environment (head office-only experience will not be suitable) ✔ Strong cost accounting experience with exposure to raw material costing, inventory and production costing ✔ Experience with management accounts and financial reporting ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔ Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience will be advantageous If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV.
