POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established, diversified hospitality and property group operating across multiple regions in Southern Africa. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, ensuring accurate consolidated financial data, efficient processes, and valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines deep financial understanding with technical proficiency, acting as the bridge between the finance, IT, and business teams to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and maintain system integrity while reporting across 15 entities.

In addition to its hospitality operations, the group also holds a strategic property division, managing a range of owned and leased assets within its portfolio. The company’s structure includes approximately 15 trading entities, consolidated at the group level, supported by a central finance team that partners closely with operations to ensure efficient reporting, governance, and strategic growth.

This environment would suit a finance professional who enjoys working in a multi-entity, fast-paced hospitality setting, with exposure to both operational finance and system-driven process improvement.

The Financial Business Analyst will manage the group financial consolidation process across 15 legal entities, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely reporting. The role will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including ERP and reporting tools, while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across the group.

The incumbent will analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop reports and dashboards to support management decisions. They will also streamline and automate financial workflows, driving process efficiency and improving reporting quality.

As a bridge between finance and IT, the Analyst will translate financial requirements into effective system solutions, support users with training and troubleshooting, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives that enhance performance, profitability, and strategic insight.
