Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full financial close cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Manage core finance functions such as cash, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including reconciliations and trial balances
• Take responsibility for cash flow management and treasury activities, including banking relationships
• Prepare detailed financial reports, insights, and performance metrics for senior leadership and board review
• Handle group consolidations, intercompany transactions, and variance analysis across multiple entities
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
• Lead the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with auditors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and strengthen financial controls and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (essential)
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles

Experience Required

• At least 3 years’ post-articles experience in a similar capacity
• 3–5 years of experience managing and leading a team
• Exposure to group structures or cross-border operations (African experience is advantageous)
• Experience within project-based, construction, or complex intercompany environments is beneficial
