Operating as a strategic pillar within the corporate finance department, you will hold total operational accountability for portfolio financial controls, executive management packs, and the leadership of a high-performing team of finance professionals. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Financial Stewardship & Team Leadership: Direct and oversee the end-to-end financial accounting workflows across assigned property portfolios while directly managing, mentoring, and reviewing the output of a team of financial professionals. Executive Reporting & Month-End Governance: Drive the month-end and year-end close frameworks, compiling pristine monthly management packs, property performance dossiers, and consolidated financial statements. Properties Yield & Performance Analysis: Dissect property-level income statements, analyze operating expenditure recoveries, evaluate tenant lease accounting, and deliver clear variance insights to executive decision-makers. Treasury & Forward Planning: Lead property budgeting models, rolling operational cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure tracking across the portfolio. MDA Systems & Process Optimization: Command the MDA Property Management System to ensure absolute data integrity, optimize operational accounting workflows, and strengthen internal controls. Statutory Compliance & External Audit Leadership: Direct annual audit preparation pipelines, ensure strict alignment with accounting standards (IFRS), and manage statutory tax compliance requirements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Professional Qualification (Non-Negotiable): Active qualification as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) is an absolute requirement.
