POSITION INFO:

Job & Company description

A leading mining company that has focused on the industry for over years and forms part of the JSE is seeking an exceptional Financial Controller for the Projects department.

As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the full cycle of project management and the successful candidate will have experience dealing with project in excess between R4-R6 billion.

As the Financial Controller you will be operationally involved and report directly into the executives of the division. The ideal candidate will be analytical minded, research orientated and the ability to build relationships with different individuals.

Duties will Include but are not limited to:

Identifying and reducing expenses.
Increase profitability
Cash flow management, budgets and management of WIP
Project Accounting and Project costing
Project procurement
Governance and Compliance
Capex and Opex experience
Implementation of accurate project cost reports

Skills & Experience

CA(SA)

Ten years post article experience

Experience within a mining or manufacturing environment.
