POSITION INFO:

A global leader specializing in the marketing and distribution of specialty chemicals and ingredients is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting obligations. The Financial Controller will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and suggesting improvements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monthly and annual tax calculations and submissions and managing the consolidations of the business.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)
• Big 4 audit article experience

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3-5 years’ post article experience
• Experience working in a multinational organization is preferred
• Experience working in a sale and distribution environment is preferred
• Willing to travel into Africa
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong IFRS knowledge
