A leading diversified mining and minerals concern is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate should be someone who has dealt with projects.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting obligations. The Financial Controller will be responsible for project accounting, forecasting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for compliance, costing and managing WIP.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5-7 years’ post article experience
Experience in the mining/chemicals/oil and gas industries is preferred
Experience in dealing with projects of about R5 billion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
